Widow's Home
In 2005, Flywheel purchased the historic Widows Home on Greene Street in the Olde Town Historic District.
Flywheel stabilized the Widows Home, removing nonhistoric material from the interior, repairing the roof, porch and windows, and repainting the exterior. In August of 2007, Flywheel sold the Widows Home to Christ Community Health Services, who have transformed the Second Empire structure to a neighborhood clinic providing affordable primary healthcare to the underserved. Christ Community Health Services has been in operation since 2011.
